Too hot, so we changed accomodation to a bungalow next to the river

View at breakfast

We spent two days at the lake in Khao Sok. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by limestone cliffs and jungle. Since it's low season in Thailand, there were just the two of us and a Spanish guy Pablo and our thai guide

We started with a hike and a cave

At the entrance of the Cora cave. A scary but beautiful cave, you realise you're actually afraid of the dark when you enter a cave with a small torch and it is full of bats and spiders and a couple of snakes

After our hike we arrived at this amazing bay, and we swam jumping from our longtail boat, mmmm life is good!

On our way to the floating bungalows in a longtail boat

Find Gael

Delicious dinner with Pablo

Kayaking and then hiking again

But this time in the deep jungle with no path, just our guide and a machete, 35 degrees and humid. We saw monkeys and some wild boar.

Exhausted and hungry after hours of walking, still have to go find the kayak somewhere
But daaaaamn it was amazing!
