Sekotong and Gili Nanggu, Indonesia

Sekotong... we were the only white people of the village and there was no restaurant... can you get more remote than that? Chilling at our private resort...

Beautiful beach and in the background is Gili Nanggu

Jess ready to snorkel in Gili Nanggu. Just to add: we were alone on the island

Singapore

5 days visiting Singapore! Jess has her two girls Karin and Linnea from med.school living and working here (since they met a guy each during their erasmus here 4 years ago, and both are getting married now!) and Gael two of his breakdance guys Felix and Farhan (singaporeans).
First night in Bugis

Chinese street food. But the city is full of chic restaurants and good food.

All the buildings in this city are huuuge

Singapore botanic gardens

Futuristic design wherever you go

The city of shopping malls, many open 24/7!

We stayed in Little India to escape the business districts. Indian vibe guaranteed!

Too hot, so we changed accomodation to a bungalow next to the river

View at breakfast

We spent two days at the lake in Khao Sok. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by limestone cliffs and jungle. Since it's low season in Thailand, there were just the two of us and a Spanish guy Pablo and our thai guide

We started with a hike and a cave

At the entrance of the Cora cave. A scary but beautiful cave, you realise you're actually afraid of the dark when you enter a cave with a small torch and it is full of bats and spiders and a couple of snakes

After our hike we arrived at this amazing bay, and we swam jumping from our longtail boat, mmmm life is good!

On our way to the floating bungalows in a longtail boat

Delicious dinner with Pablo

Kayaking and then hiking again

But this time in the deep jungle with no path, just our guide and a machete, 35 degrees and humid. We saw monkeys and some wild boar.

Exhausted and hungry after hours of walking, still have to go find the kayak somewhere
But daaaaamn it was amazing!
